A/C – NO COOLING

  • Check if the thermostat is working properly or if the temperature is set too high. Adjust the setting by 5 degrees below the current temperature. Be sure to switch the system to COOL or AUTO
  • Inspect the condenser coils if there are grass, leaves and twigs which hinder the A/C’s operation. Cut down or remove these blockages. Clean the coils and if you see bent fins, straighten them carefully.
  • If there is minimal amount of air that comes out of your vents, check your air filters if dirty. The filtered particles might be blocking the airflow. This is a reason why regular air filter replacement is necessary.
  • See to it that all registers are open and there are no objects blocking the airflow.
